This is how I picture it
This is how the world will be
After it has been saved
The car of tyranny
Will be wrapped around the tree of truth
Driven by the fools drunk on aspirations of world domination, and greed
There wheels still spinning and they reek of hot rubber
While walking down this super highway of the U.S.A.
I see the smoke of regret
Rising from the skid marks of epiphany
Makes me feel glad I walked today
I look up to the sky and squint my eyes
I can almost see beyond the smog of exhaust
Given off by the fire breath of the monsters called corporation
Who have prayed on the weak of independent companies
Past the smog
And can see the blue sky of tomorrow
And the sun of hope
I take in a deep breath of the air of I told you so
I walk into the big city
Oh how I wished to live in the big city of dreams
But know I see its true light
And how many dreams were smashed by big city livin’
Makes me glad I lived in a town were there was apple trees then people
For in the big city of dreams more lives were lost
Then dreams were lived
And look at the big city now
Its nothing
Its towering buildings of corruption
Starved for its live and penniless
It is now wrapped in the vines of inevitability
The green vines squeezing the lies and hate form the concrete and foundation
Choking, crushing, crumbling
This is the world we have created
And the only way to fix it is
To crumble up the napkin
To start a new thumbnail sketch
For we have made a world that kills itself
It will only last a while before it self-destructs
So take a picture
To learn from your mistakes
This is the world as I see
The world once it has been saved
It has started itself over
The primordial soup started to boil again
There is no ruler
No domination
No suv’s
And there is defiantly no wall greens
